Run Tuscaloosa, a combined Tuscaloosa Mayor's Cup 5K for Pre-K and Tuscaloosa Half Marathon event, relies heavily on its volunteers. Without people like you, we cannot put on this wonderful event raising money for four great causes. Past volunteers have been recognized and thanked many times by past participants as a result of their dedication and hard work.
Why should I volunteer?
Your time benefits the Tuscaloosa Mayor's Cup runners, walkers and guests by providing help in a variety of areas. More importantly, volunteers provide the energy and enthusiasm to help encourage runners to the finish line! Also, volunteering for this event will show your support to our local community and the Tuscaloosa Pre-K Initiative! All volunteers will receive a t-shirt and breakfast.
Who should volunteer?
We encourage both individual community members as well as large groups and organizations to volunteer. We have a variety of volunteer options to help work with your availability and talents! Minors under the age of 19 will need to have a parent or guardian sign a release form, but we can always find a safe way for our young volunteers to get involved.
